On our way back to Vancouver from Smithers we were not able to get very far without stopping every 10-15 minutes to check out all of the geological features that are scattered throughout beautiful British Columbia. Driving through the mountain ranges and river valley’s we were able to capture some gorgeous imagery. A good example is this photo of glacial deposits. This image shows successive layers of a glacial deposit and a modern debris fan (Alluvial fan).
