Drill core donated by BC Hydro, taken as part of a geotechnical program to gather information from the Nelson Park substation site in the West End of Vancouver. The drilling intercepted more of the Kitsilano Formation rocks and sediments that we see exposed in the foreshore at Kitsilano Beach.
